We stayed at Casa Xiana. You can see details of the house we stayed
at on their web site. It was
a nice place to come to - it was a hard place to leave!!
When we arrived we drove to the end of the road wondering
if we were lost until we saw this!!! |
Our front porch....
It doesn't get any better than this!!!!
This was the front yard of the Casa from the street.
You can just see the pool on the left side. |
The street in front of the Casa.
I'm standing on a speed bump taking this picture. The picture
to the left, indicates a speed bump in the road, not topless
bathing. We loved the trees in the middle of the road.
It didn't take us long till we were enjoying the front yard!
We enjoyed the pool immensely and the lizards liked
watching us folic in the pool - note lizard in left of picture,
peering over the rocks. |
Pool boy here - I just can't stop... phew I got that
leaf... |
Lizards everywhere. Here is a Jesus Christ (they run
on water) lizard. It actually ran across the pool one morning |
Lizard on the left is eating the buds off the hibiscus
bush alongside the pool
Again, we're being watched as we play in the pool...
We could see these people skydiving (and hear some
screams) as we sat on our patio or in the pool. They landed right
down on the beach in front of the Casa. |
Okay, time for some home cooked Bar B Q'ed chicken
by chef Rickie - No Rick, I haven't seen your beer... |
This evening we made tacos. |
We also ate!!!!!
A lot.
At breakfast we cooked our own huevos rancheros... |
Even though it looks like we spent a lot of time in
the kitchen, we really didn't. We had most of our dinners out and
most of our breakfasts in. |
We even relaxed in the living room a few times... |
We even drank a beer or two while in the pool
.
I know that's a surprise!!
Well, that's about it - time for a nap - maybe I'll
read a little first... |
