We stayed in Playacar, a small (gated) community on the southern edge of Playa del Carmen, the Caribbean Coast of Mexico, about 45 minutes south of Cancun. The weather was hot, humid, and sunny every day we were there. We all got a little sunburned - some more than others. It rained briefly twice but clouds and rain lasted less than 30 minutes. The average temperature was 80 to 90 degrees.
